X70 XDCAM designation

Why does the X70 have an XDCAM logo, if it is NOT capable of XDCAM recording? Just curious.

From what I read, XDCAM is basically a product family name for cams recording to solid state. And different codecs/containers are used across that line.

Perhaps this XDCAM article needs to be updated to also include XAVC?

I don't feel so bad about putting a "Betacam" sticker on the side of my Hi8 EVW300 back in 1992.....heh. :-)
