FX3 and ISO
My FX3 showed up last week and I have a rare opportunity to learn it a little before the next gig.
From what I can see, in S-Log 3 (I haven't tried the other S-Logs) the noise level changes dramatically from 10,000 to 12,800 as shown in all the YouTube videos. It appears to be usable up to around 2,500 and then you have to jump to 12,800 or there's a lot of noise. However in S-Cinetone the noise level related to ISO appears to be linear. I don't see any noise reduction at 12,800 compared to 10,000. I'm assuming the secondary base ISO is only for S-Log. Any experts want to weigh in? |

Re: FX3 and ISO
I believe the best way to find out for sure is to shoot another music video with it.
Just saying. :-) Andrew |

Re: FX3 and ISO
Ha, that would certainly be more fun than doing more real estate Andrew!
