Sony FX9 - Third Party Batteries with D-Tap

Hey Everyone, looking for a BP-U battery with D-Tap. Tried a battery from Kastar only to have it not recognized by the camera. What are people using on their FX9? Wanting D-Tap to power a monitor mounted on the camera.

Thanks!

Re: Sony FX9 - Third Party Batteries with D-Tap

Thought I would post that I found a great battery for the FX9 by Hawk Woods. Has two D-taps and comes in 98Wh which should last 2-3 hours depending on use. Ordered and testing one now.

Adorama link: https://www.adorama.com/hwbp98ux.html?kbid=68009

Thanks

The only non Sony one I'm aware of Jeff is the Swit LB-SU98 Battery (Sony BP-U). IF you can get one! Comes with D Tap and USB ports. Claims the following:

98Wh / 6.8Ah High Capacity
With 14.4V nominal voltage, the LB-SU98 has 98Wh / 6.8Ah capacity, and can run approx. 3 hours on SONY PXW-FX9 camera

There's the CORE Nano U-98, a 98wh BPU Style Battery with a P-Tap and USB port... $250US. Available at all the usual places.

No experience with this battery, though I'm thinking of buying a couple for my Canon C70...
