A1 Sound Question

I asked earlier about purchasing the XLR Block Assy, which is the piece that connects on top of the A1 and allows for mic inputs.

Mine has broken and I was looking into purchasing a new one from Sony, but before I bought it, I ran into this piece:

Beachtek DXA-4P Audio Adapter

Which hooks in via the microphone jack and hangs onto the bottom of the camera instead of onto the top, however it lacks a microphone holder (which can be easily fixed with the purchase of a mount)

I was wondering if this would perhaps be a better option, because I know the XLR Block Assy (at least for me) has trouble mixing to dual channels and this might fix.

Thoughts? Maybe even a suggestion of a better 3rd option?

Actually, just after posting this I went on the Beachtek website and discovered this.

BeachTek DXA-6vu Phantom Adapter

Which is even better.

Thoughts?
