Height & Width of FX1 Flip out LCD Screen?

I have a shoot coming up next weekend with a rented FX1, and I want to build a sunshade for the flip out LCD screen. Can someone measure theirs and give me the width and height please. Millimeters or inches is fine. Thank you, James |

Sorry if this is too late for your shoot... I think it's the same as my Z1. Width (to the outside of the plastic housing) is 3-7/8". Note that it is slightly curved, and that is the measurement at its widest part in the center. Height is 2-1/2". You may not really need a sunshade though. It's a transreflective screen and it actually looks very nice under direct sunlight with the backlight turned off. This is a nice feature of the FX1 and Z1 which is often overlooked in various comparisons with other cameras. |

Hey Boyd thanks for getting back to me. We're gonna be shooting out in the open in the foothills of a county park. We'll try it without and if we do need it, atleast we'll have it on hand. Thanks, James |
