When I went back to them, they have now dropped the price (just sent you an e-mail about this) and therefore still interested in going down this path. I'm very wary of hacking into my bayonet though as tools are not my friend! Would this be something you might be interested in undertaking for me or, alternatively making the adaptor as you have done, if I was to pay you?

I had my adapter made here in England, Ian - for about £45 in black anodised aluminium. I went to SRB Engineering
Camera Accessories,Digiscoping,scopes,binoculars

There's another engineering firm I can't find the site address for at the moment, but I'll keep looking.
