Stock lens Poor Contacts?? at DVinfo.net

Hi Guys

I had two corporate shoots yesterday ..a run fun for the sponsor Bank early in the morning and a soccer match in the afternoon. I used the 18-200 stock lens for both.

No issues on the morning shoot at all but during setup at the soccer game, in the LCD the exposure kept going light/dark and flashing between apertures ..it was a nice day so it was jumping from F8 to F10 !

I removed the lens and put it back on and all was well so I can only assume that it was a contact issue???
Do you clean contacts on the lens and body ever? I also noticed a few times that the AF was a bit slow to lock in on a zoom out (these player move fast so I running full auto) That only occurred a few times so maybe there was a bit of mis-communication between the lens and body and I can only guess it was the contacts.

Anyone had this or had to clean the contacts ...if so what do you use ??
