Sony NEX VG30 @50P
Well here is my very first fly with the little VG30 on the Glidecam HD 2000 hooked to a Merlin vest bare feet through the Rainforest :-)
Used the standard 18-200 mm lens that came with it, focus was on auto. Shot it @ 50P and simply dumped the raw files on a 25P timeline in EDIUS. No stabilization added in post, just some CC. |

Paul:
Great stuff. I am using the VG 20 and still learning what it can do. Did you lock the camera lens at widest (18 mm) angle, and was camera stabilization on ?

Re: Sony NEX VG30 @50P
Hi Chris
The camera was on auto focus and the OSS was set to active. Lens was full wide being 18mm. Will shoot some more but think I might get the new NEX 10-18 mm lens as the OSS is wonderful on the 18-200. |
