Bob's Technical Comments, Podcast

OK, this is a shameless plug for my Podcasts I've been toying with...

Some of you may find it interesting, because I deal with many of the technical issues with video. However, I haven't gotten to the EX-1 yet. Just wait until after NAB...

Nothing shameless about it. Always a fan of your posts.
I really liked the podcasts. Informative, staight and even accessible to the digital beginner like myself. Thanks Bob.

Thanks for your response.

I teach Electronics, Computer Technology, and Robotics at El Camino College, so trying to explain how things work is something I enjoy doing. The Podcasts are sort of a logical extension to what I do in class. Except, I can't talk about video production in class, but I talk about other things.

NAB is going to be exciting, with any luck I can catch several interviews on my portable solid state recorder for future Podcasts.

My big dream would be to interview Philip Bloom about working with a CMOS Image Sensor on the EX-1 AND find Barry Green and interview him about using CCD image sensors; that would make a great Podcast. (Don't hold your breath, I'm not that lucky, but I like to dream...)

Best Wishes,

Bob Diaz

ROFL... Hey Bob, you can just ask Philip for an interview. He seems amicable enough. And he should be around at NAB time.

Tips For NAB...

Given that NAB is 1 week away, I decided to have some fun and added a Podcast about the Super Large (Mega) Trade Shows.

Unlike the other Podcasts, this one has a bit of light humor as well as funny, but true stories about past trade shows.

Excellent podcast about NAB and mega-tradeshows, Bob...

I've copied it into a new thread in our Announcements forum for better exposure:

Hey Bob, are you still doing the podcasts? I've been missing them and iTunes is now returning error messages when it looks for RSS updates.
