top right of display: UBG. How can I change to Clock?

Hi there,
I can't figure out how to change the UBG in the top right of my display to Clock instead.
I've selected Clock in Menu/TC UB SET/Timecode, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.
If someone could tell me what to do, I'd appreciate it.
Also (I've been sitting on a plane, and I've had a chance to go through some of my settings, to try to figure out how to do something new) - - if I want to try some Slow Motion stuff... what should I set the S&Q Motion Frame Rate to? I have to shoot 1080/24p for my Avid editing (it seems to be the one Avid likes). I think I have to shoot 720/24p for slow motion, don't I? But what should I set the frame rate to?
Thanks so much,
Malcolm

Hello again,
Just discovered how to change from UBG to Clock, or Duration (that's the one I've settled on)... with the little button under the handle, to the left of the Status button.
I'm unlikely to solve my other question, though, so if anyone has some advice, please send it along.
Malcolm

You can keep the shooting mode at 720p and then turn on the under/overcranking feature in the menu. Sony calls it S & Q Motion so look for that. Turn it on and then change the frame rate to anything over 24 fps. If you want the clip to run at 50% normal you'd change the frame rate to 48. It goes up to 60 for even slower slo-mo in 24p. Keep in mind that you can't record audio in S & Q mode for the obvious reasons. There will be a red circle with a slash through it over top the audio meters in the viewfinder. As soon as you see that you know you've got over/undercrank activated.

thanks Don... I was shooting (in BC, actually) and couldn't check the forum easily. But I appreciate your reply. I did in fact try what you suggested, and it worked well...
cheers, Malcolm
