How to best mix 720P 50 and 720 Slo-mo?

If I shoot 720P 50 and want to incorporate som 720P 25 slo mo footage, how do I go about this to get the best results?
(I use FC)

Before I have usually shot 1080P and just popped the slo mo footage down on the timeline, but for this project I will shoot a lot of different action sports and would prefer to have the bulk of the footage in 50P.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: I just shot 3 different shots 720 50p, 720 25p and 720 slo mo. I put them all on a 720 50p timeline and no need to render.
The 50p obviously handles fast motion better than 25p.
The 720 25p 50 frames a second seemed fine in the time line, but I guess something has to "be done" to the shot in FC to make it play in a 50p timeline, anything that affects the image quality?
Iīm on my laptop so I canīt play it back on a proper monitor for critical viewing, but it looks good so far

Update:
I just made a QT file of the 3 shots and played it back from my WD HDTV on my 42" plasma and they intercut nicely. 50p showed less stutter and the slo mo played very well.
So I guess I stick with shooting this project in 50p and just throw the slo mom on the 50p timeline.
The slo mo certainly intercuts better than with 1080 25P
