Kensingtons (at least the one I have) don't allow you to close the EX1 door. Try the MxR/MxMs or the Delkin eFilm units, though you need a particular type of the latter.

You might also want to consider the EX-3 shoulder mount from EXMount.com

From the site:

A mount that utilises the VCT-14 style of baseplate, compact enough to be left on the camera, help with balance, power the camera/accessories via a V-Lock or Anton Bauer battery and allow mattboxes and other accessories to be mounted - just like the big cameras!
