Z190 Max SD Card Size

Does anyone know what the largest SD card size is supported by the Z190?

Re: Z190 Max SD Card Size

I'm pretty sure there is no size limit. Sony doesn't mention any limit in the operation manual.

Re: Z190 Max SD Card Size

Be warned that there is a limit of 600 clips on a card, regardless of their length. So, a really large 512GB card might not be appropriate for b-roll, etc. where the shots are relatively short. For interviews, meetings, performances, etc. longer cards can work, but how many eggs do you want to put in a basket? You better be using high-quality genuine cards from name-brand companies and reputable resellers.

Re: Z190 Max SD Card Size

I went with the SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC Memory Card. They are low enough in cost to buy several and I plan to carry a USB hard drive so space shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the Information.

I'm looking forward to your "Doug Jensen's Sony PXW-Z280 and PXW-Z190 Master Class" after I make my purchase.
