Steadicam Pilot & the Sony PMW-EX1

Will anyone have a chance to try flying the PMW-EX1 on a Pilot at IBC?

Mikko? :)

Reports are 'it's a little heavier than we expected' and 'front heavy thanks to the good glass up front'. It's more power hungry too (15W?) - new battery types required. Hopefully we can look forward to powering from the AB on the sled...

To all those at IBC, enjoy! (virtual beer to all). Wish I was there.

I *really* doubt the EX1 will be out anywhere except on the Sony Stand. Though if possible, I'll look into it.

- Mikko.
