Do you trust Ebay batteries?
Just going through my options for replacement batteries for the Canon G6, and noticed how dirt cheap batteries are on ebay....
I've always used Canon batteries for my XL1S DV camera, but am willing to try something cheaper for my still camera... Are these ebay batteries more prone to leakage than the canon's at 10x the price? This is my only concern really, a battery dying after a year of use if fine, i just dont want it leaking and destroying the camera.

I have off-brand/no-name batteries the same you'd find on Ebay in:
2 Canon XL1 video cameras (4 total) 1 Canon ZR40 video camera (2) 1 Minolta A2 digital camera (3) 1 Canon S100 digital camera (1) 1 Sony Ericson P800 cell phone (2) Probably saved myself easily $1000+ in batteries. If any of them ever explode, I'll let you guys know.
