Need help on video freelancer contract issue!

Hello!

I need a little help on this one. I've got a really good gig freelancing for a company in my area. They have a "NON-DISCLOSURE, NON-COMPETITION,
NON-SOLICITATION AND ASSIGNMENT OF INVENTIONS AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACT WORKERS" contract they want me to sign.

I've got to show up there on Monday with this contract agreement signed and don't have time to get a lawyer. Usually, I can understand the jargon pretty well. But, this one is pretty lenghtly from what I'm used to...and I guess I need a second look. This gig is for freelancing as a producer on corporate videos, and they have other producers working for them now. Everyone seems very happy there...I've already worked two days and now I've been invited back. It's just that this agreement needs to get signed...

So, if anyone would be willing to take a peek I'll email it to you!

Thanks in advance!!!!!!

What does lengthy mean? 2 pages? 10? If its two, I will take a look at it, always interested in new contract language. BUT I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY AND WILL NOT GIVE YOU LEGAL ADVICE. The best I can do is ask questions about things I don't understand or am worried about.

send it my way dude, ill have a squiz at it...

I also have one of these for the freelancers workng for me, however i have written it in lamens terms. As above, i cant give legal advice, but basically its there so u dont leach clients from the company your contracted with, which is fair considering theyre giving you work, by leads which they have sourced..

Thanks guys, but I had to sign it this morning. It was 9 or 10 pages...very detailed from what I'm used too. If you want a copy I'll send it to you, but minus the corp identity of course. I didn't like the verbage, but they're paying me decent money...so, I can't cause a stink.
