Cinema Lenses for DV at DVinfo.net

I have a DSR-390 Sony Camera, and I want to give it the closets look to film as possible, so is there any special kind of Cinema lens I can buy for this purpose? Or will the 19 inch Canon lens be enough for this purpose?

So you are too going for the film look. Well if you are looking for more DOF then you should consider couple of these threads.

Oh also there are 16 9 adapters you can buy for a normal lense. For this check out http://www.centuryoptics.com/products/dv/16x9/16x9.htm.
Note that those are not true wide screen.
There are other things you can do so look through the board.

The question has been asked a lot in this forum Hamad. Please
take a little time and look around.

The "film look" beings with a great story, good cinemetography
(lighting / framing etc.), acting, music etc.

A lens might help, but I would definitely make sure I have all
the basic gear first you will need much more. There is not a
magic one piece gear or piece of software.

Color correction in post can do wonders as well in my opinion.

Sorry about my misunderstanding in fact 16:9 anamorphic lenses are true wide screen. From what i understand they squeeze the wide rectangular image into your regular squarish ccd. The way it works is by stretching the image vertically and squishing it horizontally. In the end you end up with no resolution loss (since you are using full vertical resolution) and a wide perspective.
Sorry for the false information i am still a newbie in dv.
