Its even ignored by some bigger filmmakers... on our last shoot had a dp who was one of the types that only cared about image...

He always expressed the idea... you can fix it in post... I've never been in the studio world... so when I have a bugdet to meet I have to meet that budget... because I have to look at the whole picture (no pun intended) and make every department work for the whole production...
