Well, it looks like 6pm at one of three places. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys, possibly we can work together in the future. I just hope people actually show up, yuk yuk.

Keith Loh March 21st, 2004 09:44 PM

Just pick a place. I've never been to this Cafe de Soleil. Let's go there. Meet starting 630-7pm Tuesday.

Ronald Lee March 21st, 2004 10:05 PM

Ok, fine.

Let's all *TRRRYYY* to be at Cafe Du Soleis at 6pm. Corey, looking forward to meeting you man, what is the location and do they serve food there?

If people want to veto that and meet at Wasubeez instead, then speak up *now*.

Dylan Couper March 22nd, 2004 12:14 AM

Can you guys give me directions?

What type of place is Wasubeez? Sounds neo-Japanese.

Keith Loh March 22nd, 2004 12:41 AM

Wasubeez is just a regular hangout bistro.

Denny Lajeunesse March 22nd, 2004 10:24 AM

I say cafe de Soliei. Its around 7th ave on Comercial. There is a small place with a similar name north of 1st so don't get mixed up. :)

Are we for sure on the 6pm time? If so see you there, if not lets decide right now.

Denny

David Stone March 22nd, 2004 10:36 AM

Hi Denny, your suggestion is good with me. Give me a call about the mixer.

Keith Loh March 22nd, 2004 11:00 AM

Okay, I'm wandering in sometime after 6pm on Tuesday, Cafe de Soleil.

Frank Granovski March 22nd, 2004 12:22 PM

Where on Commercial Drive is "Cafe de Soleil?"

Is that a coffee shop?

Is that 6:00 PM tomorrow?

Dylan Couper March 22nd, 2004 06:00 PM

6pm tomorrow (Tuesday) Frank.

I guess it's between 6th and 7th on commercial. Hope you can make it, looking forward to meeting you. :)

I'll bring a (still) camera.

Frank Granovski March 22nd, 2004 06:20 PM

6th and 7th? Hmmm. Beside the post office?

Denny Lajeunesse March 22nd, 2004 08:43 PM

pretty much. Cafe Deux Soleils, 2096 Commercial

Its a cafe/restaurant with good beer on tap.

Denny

Dylan Couper March 22nd, 2004 11:39 PM

How is anyone supposed to recognize anyone else?

David Stone March 22nd, 2004 11:45 PM

I'll put a "reserved for DVinfoNet" on the table. The only catch is if I get there a bit late.

Frank Granovski March 22nd, 2004 11:58 PM

As my wife often says, "big, huge fat body, a scary ugly face." :-)) I'll be carrying a Lowepro Vidcam 2 bag, with an old manual SLR. How about, the big guy with the balding head. Ahh, I give up! Just look at my pic on the Wrangler bio site.

Keith Loh March 23rd, 2004 12:02 AM

I look like this.

Denny Lajeunesse March 23rd, 2004 01:19 AM

Complete with the glow effect? Wow, that must freak people out when you walk down the street. :)

Denny

Keith Loh March 23rd, 2004 01:30 AM

And the weather gets heavenly in my steps...

Ronald Lee March 23rd, 2004 01:41 AM

Keith walks up and down commercial drive bare chested, a la' the picture.

hmm, how about everyone bring a camera to I.D. ourselves. He with the biggest one wins. OR, he with the most toys wins. Take your pick.

OMG. I can't believe you posted that pic. You may be my new hero, at least for the day!

Keith Loh March 23rd, 2004 01:54 AM

Ronald, that would be an ideal night for robbers to come away with a stash beyond their wildest dreams.

I think my XL1S stays home.

Frank Granovski March 23rd, 2004 03:13 AM

Grasshopper!

John Gaspain March 23rd, 2004 01:48 PM

jeeezus!

Frank Granovski March 24th, 2004 12:00 AM

I'm glad I finally got to meet all of you this evening! Interesting crowd! Hopefully the pic I took of the waitress will turn out. :-))

Dylan Couper March 24th, 2004 12:06 AM

I can confirm that Frank is actually a real person, not a computer AI, like many of us had suspected. He also showed me this really cool camera that records the image on something called -film-.

Frank Granovski March 24th, 2004 12:14 AM

Film? What else is there?

Man, that coffee was strong. I'm buzzing. At $1.25 a cup, I'll have to come back. Maybe tomorrow, just to grab a coffee.

Dylan, I didn't know you were so tall! And Keith has quite the hair style. :-))

Keith Loh March 24th, 2004 01:11 AM

Yea, I had two of those coffees and I'll be up for at least ..

ZZZZZZZZZZZ... (didn't counteract my so-called 'non-drowsy' antihistamines...)

Alex Melnikov March 25th, 2004 07:32 PM

oh damn looks like a missed a great meet up :-(

Dylan you even have me on your msn list and you never told me!!! I smell conspiracy :-)

Anyways, next time there is a gathering somebody let me know, hehe

And low light! Shame!!

Keith Loh March 29th, 2004 03:07 PM

We all look like zombies.

Frank Granovski March 29th, 2004 03:09 PM
