MANFROTTO 028B OR 536 - Looking for a tall tall tripod

Hi

Any thoughts on what you would go for. I'm using an EX1

It'll be used mostly to film weddings and live dancing at reception parties

Cheers

I've been using a Gitzo GT3540XLS. It extends 7 feet solidly and is very light.

if the 028 is the old Bogen #3246 which I think it is, with the lower leg extentions out and the center colum raised all the way it will get up to 8 feet in the air. I've done it for static cams but frankly as sturdy as the legs are I don't know that I'd want to go that high and try moving around at all even on a set of wheels but if height is what you want then personally I think it will do the job for you.
