Sachtler Video 20 Plus

Hello.

I've searched the internet but can't find a minimum weight requirement for this head. It tops out at 55lbs, but I want to use it for an EXR-1. With all attachments, I might be looking at 10-12lbs. Is this going to be too light? I know this head is overkill for now, but I will end up with a bigger rig down the road. Also, how old is this head?

Thank you.

Re: Sachtler Video 20 Plus

Hi,

Please send me the serial number and I will be able to tell you when the head had been produced. The last model of this line was produced in 2006.

The min payload of this head was approx 7 kg, depending on the cog height of your camera.

If you have any further question, please contact me at barbara.jaumann@vitecgroup.com

Re: Sachtler Video 20 Plus

Thanks Barbara.

I don't actually own this head. I found a listing for a used one plus the ENG 2CF HD on the internet, but wanted to know it's minimum weight limit before I purchased it. 7kg's is cutting it pretty close. I think I'll just bite the bullet and go with a new DV-10 SB.

Thanks again.
