Well, I encoded with Xvid so it's MPEG-4 part 2 which is widespread. I suggest you use VLC, it can read pretty much all formats.
However, if it still can't work, you can watch it on Youtube. The quality is inferior but it's better than black ;) The link is in the first post of this thread.

Well this was worth spending a hour downloading vlc. I really like how you did your text. Took alittle imagination to put those shots together and make something interesting. Nice job.
