quick question: 480x234px acceptable for SD focussing?

I'm getting a portable dvd player on ebay to hook up to my camera with lens adapter for proper framing and focussing.

Thing is, I'd like to go as cheap as possible, those standard cheap dvd players have a res at around 480x234, is this acceptable for focussing with SD video?

(quick reply is much appreciated, I'm bidding on ebay and it's going fast)

Sorry to reply too late, but for the reference of others on the board, no, this resolution is not sufficient for focus.
