I know what you mean!! At the last wedding I was at the bride swatted the cake accross the table after they made that first cut. She was venting her frustration out on the cake maker for delivering a 3 teered cake instead of a 6 teered one.
Then all of the guests came running up to the table with fork-in-hand and started feeding themselves. It was hilarious.
