Haha! That was great! I once shot a surprise proposal too, and also a surprise wedding where the groom didn't know he was getting married! They played my footage on the news. Stuff like this is why video is priceless.

thanks for the comments! i agree, the reactions really were fantastic...it would have been awful if we had turned up and she looked poker faced throughout!
and yes, if only i could clone out myself and the 2nd camera, that would be ideal :) |

Oh man! That was fantastic! I haven't seen a better proposal video since my own (naturally I'm biased).
Brilliant idea. I've been trying to pitch the whole "surprise engagement video" idea to grooms, but it is dang hard to get noticed before the proposal has already happened. Back to your video. The magician did a fantastic job setting things up (and does some great slight of hand too!) and her responses are pure gold! And yes, I teared up a bit. Darn allergies. |
