My very own Prewedding film :)
Susanto Widjaja Susanto Widjaja is offline December 28th, 2009, 11:44 AM

This would be one of our greatest achievements... making our own prewedding film. The story is based on how I proposed to Dewi using a lot of point of view shots of my eyes.

It was a very fun and weird process for us in making this film since we are so used to do it for other people. However, the purpose of this film was to express ourselves and to tell our true love story and I believe that we did quiet well with it.

I hope that this particular film would touch a lot of hearts :)

"There are so many ways to propose to your girlfriend.. This is how I did it"

Honestly, I think I've watched this movie like 5 times or more and showed this to many friends. I like it so much!

I love the way you hid your face until the end where you reveal in the ring scene. Then how you showed both hands during POV making it even more realistic. And of course the real footage at the end!

Only thing is you wore a red shirt as oppose to a blazer in the real proposal. :D

I really think this video deserve an award heheh. Bravo and my best wishes for your new life together!

Very Emotive video. Can feel your love for your wife from this clip. Very nice.....The last portion where you put in the real life clip is the most impactful. No amount of cinematography skills can shine over the impact of real life scene. Great job.
Btw I think we are going for the same workshop next week. Saw your email in the cc list. :)

That was great. I wasn't sure if it would work at first, but the proposal scene was so effective that I was won over. It helped that Dewi was such a great actor. She looked very natural. You did, too, but we don't see you as much.

Well done.

Thanks guys for the lovely comments :)

@erwin: The music at the end is from the OST of Pursuit of Happiness

@Kenny: Great meeting you at SM workshop last wekk. All the best and I'll surely be contacting you when I hit singapore! :)

@Johannes: Thanks so much, I do hope I would win an award with this film :P

@Vito: I'm a shy guy hahaha... prefer to be behind the camera. thats where the concept came from. I was trying to find a way to not appear in the film too many times. POV is the perfect solution.
