If you have not heard of Wikipedia before, it is an open source online encyclopedia which anyone can edit.

An article has been started on Wikipedia about event videography. Hopefully, the DV Info Net community can contribute to it. It would be a great resource for people who want to learn more about event videography such as newbies or for educating potential clients.

So far, there is a good framework to start with. Included are some topics for common issues such as HD, photographers, Uncle Charlie, copyright, Mac vs PC, etc... Please edit the article as much as you can. It would be a great step forward for the event videography industry.
