vegas 8 files to FCP2

I shot a short clip in HDV. Need to put it in Vegas 8 and make a quicktime file to send to a Final Cut editor. Any suggestions on the best render settings for compatability? Do I just select .mov uncompressed? I've tried that before but I usually can't play the final render back on my computer at any faster rate than 2 frames a second. Any help is greatly appreciated.......oh...and i have to have this to LA by Friday morning at the latest (and i'm located on the east coast)...so i'm under a little time crunch.

thanks
jeremiah
