Nvidia 8600 / 8800

Hi guys, anyone using the NVIDIA 8600 or 8800
Any issues with Vegas 8.0b- especially with overlay.

Are you guys able to get 1080i from the timeline directly to a hd tv monitor (hd crt or lcd)

Do you recommend more than 256 MB ram (512-1GB is available)

I'm running on a new quad core with 6 GB ram. I need to upgrade my stock card - kinda crusty with only one DVI out.

Thanks!
Pauil

I have a Nvidia 8400gs,is that a lower spec than yours, lower number ? I have no problems with that,it displays everything fine on my Samsung monitor. The card has 256mb ram with turbocache, whatever that is,also has DVI,HDMI and S-Video output.
