Best FREE Online Tips & Tricks
Though I’ve used Vegas since version 2, I’m still pretty much a noob when it comes to video editing knowledge and chops. But, with a new camcorder, computer and an upgrade to Vegas Pro 8 installed, I’m ready and willing to grow up a little . . . so I’m looking for whatever good (and free) online information I can find.
Thanks to Jim Ohair’s link to “Film Clutter” footage at Artbeats, I came across the articles on their Tips N Tricks page (http://www.adigitalfilmlibrary.com/articles/tips), and though they aren’t specifically aimed at Vegas users, they definitely gave me valuable information that I could grasp with my still-somewhat-limited ability to “see”. Please direct me to any other sets of “lessons” you think would be helpful. RJ |

checkout any post by Edward Troxel then go to his site. His got newletters that go back a real long way and have all kinds of tips and tricks for Vegas. From Version 3 to 8 along with DVDA and other stuff.

Just released Vol 6 #1! First issue was released in 2003 - almost hard to believe now.

Thanks, I’d been to your site/forum and had it bookmarked, but I never clicked on the Newsletters link before. Also, I’m not sure where I found the link but I had already downloaded your June 2003 “Preparing For DVD” article.
