Scrollong credit ripples !!

I recently added a rolling credit to the end of a production, i cropped it so that the rolling credit was on the left whilst showing the highlights of the production, which was cropped and on the right side of the screen.

I rendered with vegas then burnt with architect, when viewing the finished dvd the rolling credit appears to ripple up the screen rather than scroll smoothly.

Any advice on how to stop this ?

Thanks.
Paul.

I guess you could try "reduce interlace flicker". Thicker sans-serif fonts work better too.

I tried "reduce interlace flicker", no difference.
You mean reduce flicker in the clip properties yes ?

Thanks.
Paul.

Will that not apply deinterlace to the whole project.
I've done that before and it made the resulting picture soft.

Thanks.
Paul.
