Question on DVD Architect

I have upgraded my Vegas application to Vegas 10, with DVD Architect 5.2? It the past, when I created a DVD, I would select the video file, which brought the audio file with it. That appears to be the same now. When I go to make the DVD from the current project, it re-renders the audio before burning the disk.

Have I missed a setting, or did the process change from 5.0 to 5.2?

Check the project properties to make sure the audio type is the same as the file you rendered for the project. It should be either a PCM file or AC3. If you are rendering an MPEG2 file with the audio embedded out of Vegas with one of the preset MPEG2 settings it should have always been rendering the audio.

Not that I'm aware of.
I just finished authoring my first DVD in 5.2 less than an hour ago and had no problems.
Render MPEG-2 and AC-3 from Vegas, import into DVDA, prepare DVD with no issues.

Well that is what I "thought" I did. I will check when I get home from work and see.

Thank you both.
