Small issue with levels

I wonder if I have to re-install. It has been a few years now.

What I am noticing is this. Add a clip to the timeline. Add a fade to the end of it say 3 seconds
Add sony levels to the track, not the clip.

When I do this, the fade now does not work. It still works in vegas 10, just not 11. The preview goes to like 16 colors and when I render it, it looks very ugly too.

I am using version 521 64bit and it does it in 520 32bit as well.

If I uncheck the levels box, it works normally. It also works normally if I put it on the media, in the bins or to a clip by itself...

Anyone else have this issue? or is it me...

Same issue here. I was not sure if it was a bug or something else. Apparently it is a bug.

Thanks Danny.

I was wondering, if it was a bug, maybe next patch they will fix it too.

Re: Small issue with levels

It definitely is a bug.
Here's what a Sony rep said on their Vegas forum today.

There is currently an issue with Levels that results in this type of behavior (when running on GPU, with certain cards). A fix is coming soon.
