Zenote Plug-in issue

I'm playing with Zenote's Random and Grain plug-ins on some text and I noticed it only affects items that change... like I have a piece of text that fades in from black hangs for a sec and then fades back out... grain and random ONLY affect when the fade is going on not while it is just static. If I am going to have to move the text around to make random work then really what is the point of random (especially given they claim it's great for use on text)?

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong??

my zenote effects

My zenote effects will not even load. I get an error that says "are you running vegas 4 or above, and can you run scripts, because script running is essential for zenote effects". And I am running vegas 6d and I think I am able to run scripts I have run them before.

Hmm, that's odd... you could always d/l another script and try it... are you running the trial unlockable version of zenote? I just shut down and installed then restarted and it worked fine... just wanted to use "Random" for some titles and it seems kind of useless. Or is that just the way it works?

Have you tried contacting Aaron, the author of those tools through the support option on the Zenote website?

I already had Zenote installed when I installed 6.0d. Plus, any machines I could test on have multiple versions of Vegas installed so it wouldn't be a fair text. I sent Aaron an e-mail directly a few days ago but also have not heard back from him.

well, I would still be curious if it actually did anything "random" to static text no matter what the test system.

As always, I appreciate your effort!
