Marcus, if you're going to go this route instead of the SmallHD monitor, get one of the Sony's that has the 800x480 rez. All of the Sony dvd players look similar in appearance, but have different rez specs.

I wonder about this player: 1 PC 9 Inch LCD Screen Portable DVD Player + TV - DVD-T8400
The specs call for 800x600 screen resolution

hi guys, quick question.
If I got the sony dvp fx930 from the U.S. (im in Australia) it will be ntsc, the GY HM100 im using is PAL. Will that be an issue for using it as a monitor, or is it just for DVD playing compatibility?
