My first 3D-HD video with HV10!
I made some test 3D-HD video with 2 Canon HV10.
Download from www.3d-video.hu and play it using Stereoscopic Player, because its in dual stream wmv format! 2 separate stream, one for left, and one for right eye. Minimum CPU req. is a dual core or a 3ghz single core with nvidia stereo drivers. View with red-cyan anaglyph glass or LCD shutter glass if you have one. I like to hear your comments. Soon i upload a glidecam video too :) Marton |

I can download only one wmv stream 1280x720 http://www.flashpoint.hu/marton/3d/Cars_in_3dhd.wmv
Where is a second stream? You have doubled url to *.svi file http://www.flashpoint.hu/marton/3d/Cars_in_3dhd.svi You can also do 3D in one stream over-under 1280x1440 |

The wmv file itself is a dual stream file.
Open the SVI file in Stereoscopic player, and you get 3D effect :) |

Downloaded the player and got to see it in 3D. Pretty nice!
Is there a benefit in using the dual stream movie file and 3D player over a regular single. Your movie took about 6 to 8 times longer to download than Tim's and yours was about 20% smaller. Mike

Thank you Mike.
The benefit of using dual stream wmv file is that it can playback in standard WMP, and it displays the first 2D stream. Anaglyph (red-cyan) video doesnt look good when compressed to mpeg or divx.. Color information is reduced this way, and kill the good 3d effect. Instead try create the anaglyph format realtime in player! This is why we use Stereoscopic player with dualstream, over/under, sidebyside.. format. Currently i test these different format. Maybe sidebyside mpeg2 video is better than wmv. WMV Encoder is really, really SLOW on my core2duo system.. I will sse Tim's movie (but i dont like QT in general..) Marton |
