GREAT lens and highly recommendes to any XL owner. Your price is too high though, even in perfect condition, these go for $600 - $899 on the used market. The average is about $750 or so.

cheapest new lens on the internet is $1100. this lens is unused and u wont find this lens on Ebay. If u can show me an add for less, I'll think about it.....no point in selling a good lens if 750 is all I can get for it.

You might get that Bill. Hard to say. I was shopping for one a few weeks ago, and the ones on EBAY from reputable gear outlets, were going for 900, plus shipping. They had their 30/60/90 warranties. But none of them had a Canon warranty. I picked up mine for 750, and a buddy of mine got his for 750 as well. The market is a funny place. I expect with the new 6x coming out, people might be dumping their old 3x, in order to upgrade. SO that might drop the street price.

You might get the premium price if you can state definatively that there is no back focus issue with the XL2. That was my big concern. I rolled the dice on my ebay purchase, and it's sharp all the way through. But I would have liked to have know before hand.

Well Bill, it's your lens, you get to see what the market will bear. I just checked with ebay, and there are two going from ElectronicMax for 875, plus 25 in shipping, so you're right there on the money. They're offereing 14 day warranties.

I think there's a lot to be said for buying 'within' our community. Literally four hours after I won mine on ebay, one popped up here for fifty dollars less. So who knows.

Selling my Sony VX2000 3CCD mini-dv camcorder. Great condition, no problems with the camera at all, no problems with the video it produces.
I have always used Sony Premium mini-dv tapes in it. It's never been used as a capture camera either.
It has a newer style VX2100/PD170 style lens hood with the built-in lens cap.
Comes with 2 batteries (NP-F960 and NP-F950), AC Adapter, remote & a very nice case (Petrol brand).
