Hmmm, maybe next they're going to ask for the shooters to wear leather and chains?

Are you a female with an interest in shooting porn? I am shooting a short scene this Friday nightin Manhattan. I need a woman to shoot. I already have a guy I just wanted to mix it up a bit and have a woman shooting on the set. Now I will admit that because this is a no budget production, there is no pay. The only ones makimg money are the girls in the scene. We are looking for an open minded female who just wants to watch and shoot. If you are out there please get back to us with contact info and the words "Female Shooter" as your subject.

Here's the deal. I did this before and i hope it wporks for you. On Friday Feb 24 I will be shooting my Truth or Dare porn film. In this we get five guys and three female porn stars in a room and have them play a hardcore game of sexual truth or dare.

We did this last week and had a ball. I need someone with a DV camera willing to come and do the shoot for us. I can not pay this person because we do not have a budget. All money goes to pay the girls. If you are at all interested in doing the shoot and if you have your own DV cmera please get back to us. Be sure to put the word"shooter" as your subject. We really hope to hear from you.

I'm looking for 3 minutes of footage for the beginning of an open-sourced film project. Not a scam, doesn't cost anything, you'll get all the credit... blah blah blah... It's an idea that's getting a lot of exposure and media interest - we're currenlty looking for the opening three minutes to this feature film.

The Hollywood Experiment "
I suspect 'Hollywood' again hears a computer term, and screws it up in execution. They decided 'open-source' was a better term for no-lo. What they missed is that 'open-source' means they make the entire project available for others to edit. Does not seem to present itself that way.

Either that George, or the scenes for the film are open to many people... like the Lady X series.

"Camera and Sound needed for Movie about an Orgy
Reply to: gigs-136488615@craigslist.org
Date: 2006-02-23, 7:44PM EST

We are shooting this weekend and are looking for a shooter and a sound person.

We already have one shooter, but we'd love to make this a two-camera shoot. We are shooting on a Panasonic DVX100B and are looking for someone who can shoot handheld with a Panasonic DVX100 series camera.

We need a sound person who can handle a room with 10 actors. We are going to record sound on the camera, but would love to hire a sound person with their own equipment that can record and mix live multiple tracks.

Yes, the movie is an improv comedy about an orgy that never gets started. There is NO sexual content, but there is explicit dialogue. Our production company produces one feature length project every month, so this is an opportunity to join our network and be part of future projects.

I like this for several reasons. You'll notice that they somehow rented expensive gear, without having a crew in place. Brilliant. You'll notice how they want people to accept no pay to operate said gear. Notice gear is a prototype camera that just hit the market, I believe. Cause people who actually know how to use this stuff. . .yeah. . .they're the kinda people who work for free ALL the time. Why not? You'll also notice how at the bottom, it says "compensation: negotiable", directly contradicting the "no pay" bit at the top.

"AN ASPIRING FILM MAKER SEEKS DONATIONS
Reply to: keyzrelate@tmail.com
Date: 2006-03-09, 12:43AM EST

Hello I am in the market for a G4 computer.
Some screenwriting software.
Film editing software
A 3ccd DV 24p camera.
Gaffing.lighting equipement
And basically anything to do independent film making.

I'm not interested in anything but independent work. I have diffrent crew members to help out with ideas.

I'm not interested in chasing hollywood. The only way I can see it is make a good project sell it and let people come to you.

I produce music so if there is some donations for an entry level
protools system/some plug ins
Logic software
A lot of drum sounds
A lot of synth sounds especially strings.
Studio monitors.
Neuman mic/tube mic pre/compressor
CD Burner

I am not interested in going to record labels I want to do it independent

I'm tired of trying to get on I just want to bust my ass work with talented people and produce good music as well as good music videos and of course good films.

I know this is crazy to ask. But I'm thinking in terms of people that are upgrading and there might be a 1% chance you wouldn't mind giving up some pieces.

Of course I'm not selling dreams but upon taking a leap of faith going indepent if there is any finance made I will be more than willing to pay for every piece donated.
If I get paid I will be a pain in your ass to give you your money TRUST ME

I'm Loyal I'm just looking to do independent work without putting my freedom in danger by taking alternative routes to financing my tools.

Thanks and have a great day.

P.S. If you think this is crazy you don't have to reply and tell me I already know.
I look at it like this it is worth a dam try lol

"ATT DPz that can put a full feature film crew together
Reply to: keyzrelate@tmail.com

I am in the market for such talented individuals that can take a project from concept to completion in its edited ready to go stage. to donate there time every 3 months to do a full feature film.
I will be contacting screenwriters, actors etc
I will look at scripts and find great movies to produce.
I want to do this for free for the sake of art. Artist helping artist.
I will act as assistant director/producer/line producer.
The deal is I want wonderfull films
Ready to go every 3 months.
I want this to be independent. That means no festivals no deal shopping. Nothing

All I would do is try to sell it independently through the internet hand to hand and anyway I can.

Once I have everyone in place I am willing to make an even split on all revenue that will be monitored by all involved.

I look at it like this if we make a great movie and sell it for 10 dollors all over the planet if only one million people purchase the movie that's 10 million to split amoungs ourselves.
If interested please send your equipemnt list including editing software.
The reason I ask this is simply because I'm working on getting donations as to save you from having to drag your equipment out on location. If I can get the same tools you use all you would have to do is show up and use your talent.

P.S. I'm also interested in doing music videos as well. The amount per 3 month period will be on the amount of artist I produce for free and there music videos 1 per artist will be free.
Now this is also something I want to do on an indie level. Since I produce music I can cover that part. In terms of the music video I would need the crew for that purpose.
Again each artist will have 10 songs and 1 music video on there project and again if wecan sell this for 10 dollors to a million people then its and even split with everyone.
So as no1 would feel robbed of there time I will be producing music for free but I will still be willing to do the evem split with everyone.
Again I don't want to have anything to do with record labels I'm not trying to get on I just want good music and film and will sell it independently.
So I'm not looking for a distribution deal/film deal record deal nothing
I just want to do this indie all the way and then do a split all the way.

Thanks for your time.

Josh, your last three submissions are a sign that hard drug use has reached epidemic proportions...

Hey, I would almost be willing to fake up a resume for a good shooter that also includes such things as ex-Special Forces sniper with 23 confirmed kills, 12 mths tour at Gitmo as event recorder use 24p JVC, covered the Republican convention as a freelance videographer in 2004, etc. to the flower child. Hey, is this some bullshit? I don't know much about union/non-union stuff, but shouldn't these people be paid PAs?

"Full Length 35mm Feature Film Needs Interns

Local Austin crew is shooting a low budget, full length feature on 35mm and desperately needs interns. The show is a union show giving you a perfect opportunity to meet and network with Austin's film crew. The film will be shot in and around Austin, the usual five day shoot with twelve hour days (weekends off). Specifically we desperately need inerns for the set (to assist the ADs) and the art department.

I am supposed to shoot as a roaming/broll cam tomorrow for a friend of
mine. He originally had me down for about 5hrs. Now, he says it will
be a 10 hour day but can only pay $300 + some tape stock because
they are doing this on spec. I can either shoot it, or pass. He says he
will pay cash. Ugh. Right now, I am thinking I need the dough, but
would rather stay home and steam my carpets and setup my photo
studio.

Do the shoot, and use the $300 to rent the steamer for Sunday... and buy something for the studio.

I already have the steamer, bought it at walmart last year. by the way
no editing, and shooting with FX1

You need to take that but not provide the tape for that rate. That's not a terrible rate depending on your experience. I would get the money first or not surrender the tapes until you get it, friend or not.

What's the deal with people with lawmowers make more than people with cameras?

I wonder if Comcast is giving them the airtime for FREE?!

"Need a camera man (2) with equipment and dvd recording equipment to film an event. Need someone that is wanting to gain exposure and willing to work for credits and building their personal resume.

Please send your resume or request and inquiries to:

Serious inquiries only. This is a major event that will be on Comcast and we are pitching to BET"

Hey, what differentiates a serious inquiry from a half-assed one? "Hi, I saw this ad on the internet. I don't know if I'm interested. Maybe. Let me see what I'm doing that day. Get back to me. Or don't. Whatever. Dude."

Ok, I know I've posted this guy at least twice before, but he keeps doing more insane stuff, so:

"Seeking producer interested in guaranteed success project!

Hi, I am looking for producers who would be interested in funding a movie I am working on which I feel is a guaranteed success.

Tag Line: A somewhat bumbling aspiring professional hero sets off to single handedly stop the genocide in Darfur as a knight errant without a clue or a chance in hell.

Genre: Comedy/Reality/Hyperreality/Possibly Horrific Tradgedy

Catch: It's all real and will involve a totally insane professional hero heading off to stop a real genocide where over 400,000 are already dead! Thus it's the classic "far away knight comes to save the people" tale, except it's all real!

Since there is a high possibility of death or serious injury on the part of the filmmaker in this project, I will take out a life insurance policy prior to filming with the producer as the beneficiary. Thus even if I die and the project doesn't come to completion, you will still make a profit! So it's a no lose situation where you are sure to make money no matter what happens.

We are looking for a few thousand dollars for supplies, field cameras, and satellite equipment to broadcast back to the states with, as well as to develop a cool knight and Japanese anime based costume. We hope to update a website with clips to build publicity before we cut the final into a movie, if I don't die out there.

I feel sorry for the producer if the guy doesn't die, then you're stuck with a boring movie and you have to put up with that dude.
