New Lumix "GH5-S"

Well there you go; Panasonic has a product that meets our differing needs. The G9 time limit is not a limiting factor for me nor is 10 bit whereas photography does turn my crank. Having said that I shall hold the bank card for now and evaluate the G9 and the GH5s when they hit the street.

For me my GH5 is the lowest cost way of me getting UHD60P and there is a very high probability that I will never take a still photo with it !!! Will be the same if I get the GH5s.

The B&H page doesn't seem to mention HEVC/h265 though. Given that the GH5 hardware is already capable of it using a 20Mp sensor and might offer it for video as well as '6K video' with a future firmware upgrade.

GH5s does not have HEVC /H265 as that was used for the 6K video on the GH5 and the GH5s does not have enough pixels for 6K so it has been left off.
