TV Screen?

In the display setup my cameras are set to TV Screen - ON, is this the default and can anyone tell me what this does.

From page 90 of the operator's manual:

"The displays appear on or disappear from the TV screen, according to the setting selected."

Yes, ON is the default setting but the choice is yours to make.

Thanks, I just realized the option is there on the playback also and can be different from the record option.
