Neo HD and SI2K 2048 x 1152 footage
I am being confronted with the need to bite the bullet, replace/rebuild the computor and upgrade to CS5 and Cineform Neo.
I may have confused myself but my reading on NeoHD is that it is good for 1920 x 1080. I could not find a Neo2K so I presume one has to buy in Neo4K for true ability to manage 2048 x 1152 footage. I have an existing Prospect 2K v3 licence and understand there is an upgrade path. Can anyone put me right on my assumptions? Thanks in advance. |

Prospect 2K become 4K (at some point years ago.) P4K v3 upgrade to Neo4K v5 is only $200.

Hello again David.
Thanks for that info. Between drive deaths, re-installs and a few demo downloads, I thought I had P4K but have only P2K licenced. Currently the computer won't do anything except desktop mode. Something went across inside somewhere with a buzz, a snap and a burnt cockroach stink and it stopped. I cleaned everything but it only works when I press on the motherboard and operate one-handed or lay the thing on its side with some weight on it, (small rock inside a rag). It operates slower these days and tells me to load default values and continue everytime I switch it on, so I guess it is about time. |
