I do not believe that the F330 has SDI. I know the 350 does. The Nano will accept SDI or HDMI. I know that neither the 330 nor the 350 have HDMI.

Ned is correct. The only way you could use a NanoFlash on an F330 would be buy using a component to HDSDI/HDMI converter or HDV to HDSDI/HDMI converter. By the time you've done the conversion etc, the benefits of using a NanoFlash on a F330 would be small. The component output is pretty noisy and the HDV output is only 1440x1080, 4:2:0, your probably going to get better results recording internally on the optical discs.

You can't use DV or firewire to directly feed a NanoFlash.

Dear Moshe,

To confirm Ned's comments:

The Sony PDW-F350 has HD-SDI.

The Sony PDW-F330 does not have HD-SDI, just component outputs.

You could use a Component to HD-SDI converter so that you could use the nanoFlash.

Of course having HD-SDI is better, but a good converter can work.

I would think that if you put a http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/558906-REG/Blackmagic_Design_CONVMAAS_Mini_Converter_Analog_to.html between the component output of your camera and the nanoFlash that it would work. But I do not know for sure because I do not have a Sony PDW-F330.

And of course remember that the component HD out of the PDW-330 doesn't contain audio or timecode, so you'll need to hook them up with additional wires.
