A resounding YES. With the acception of editing animated photomonatages (not 3D). Vegas (on the PC) is CONSIDERABLY easier for that task. Other than that I practically never use my PCs.

I've heard that Vegas is better on a Mac, but that FCP is more intuitive.
I'm glad you found it was a good idea, and appreciate you sharing about it. Do you use any of your old PC gear with your Mac? We have a full PC network with a desktop, three laptops and two external HDs. Can we access or convert the M2T files and captured clips with the Mac? Can we network in the Mac and capture from one of the PCs so we wouldn't have to tie up the Mac with capturing? |
