Some AE work (Music vid/green screen/3d)

Hi guys

I'm working on a music video at the moment ,basically workload being the way it is we are now looking to get some help on this. It won't pay lots but it will pay. I have in the region of 50 shots that need to be keyed, colour corrected and comped onto a 3d background. The 3d is already created although needs finishing (by us) and would be supplied as a max file for you to render as needed in each shot (if you don't know or use max I could do this part) so it would mainly be after effects work really. (Or other post program if you like)

We do have some green spill in quite a few shots so some may need multilpe masks/layers and corrections.

I have a short green screen cut and a finished shot to show what we are doing.

Please email me if you are interested mat@3dvisions.co.uk - I'd like to see some example of this sort of work if possible please.

Many thanks
Mat

Gustav,

I'm a little ways south of Chicago (60970), but call or email me and we can talk about it if you haven't found anyone yet. I may be able to work out a schedule for those three days. Not sure what you're shooting on but I own a Canon XH-A1 and have shot on a few different cameras.

We Need A Production Manager in LA

Does anyone know a PM in LA that can help us with a budget? We are located in Central FL in preproduction on a 30 minute tv pilot that will be shot in LA. At the present time we are looking for someone to join our team that can help us prepare a budget and join the project when we begin production. There is a possibility of having a sponsor/funder but in order to prepare what they need, we are looking for a production manager with experience on budgeting LA rates to prepare this budget. We need a PM that is willing to do the budget on deferment, but working on the actual show will be a paid position. Please contact us by email if you can join us on this exciting project. NOLA 48hr Film Fest

I'm part of a group participating in a 48hr film festival in New Orleans on the 14th - 16th of this month. We had a team meeting last night and it came to my attention that we still need an audio person. Anyone interested in helping out?

I was also told that they are still trying to get their hands on a field mixer. Oh and if you happen to have a spare fully loaded grip truck sitting around your driveway that would be nice and if your driveway is attached to a sound stage complete with sets, well that's just fine and dandy too.

Ethan Cooper August 6th, 2009 12:33 PM

I got word last night that our Director lined up an audio guy so that need isn't there anymore. Thanks to those who responded off list.

Might need an HDV shooter in Austin, TX.

I've got a potential project in Austin that I might need someone to shoot. The client isn't sure he wants to pay my travel fee to come from Dallas to Austin.

It's a pretty straight forward instructional video shoot, they're going to demo two products and I need material shot so that we can make an instructional video from it. This video will be packaged with the products so people can see how to use them.

I have some links for the current videos that they have (homemade) and can share them with potential shooters but I don't want to post them publicly.

Both demos would be about ten minutes in real time so I'd imagine the entire shoot wouldn't take longer than 2 hours to get wideshots, closeups, etc.

If you're interested contact me ASAP at bryanmc @ gmail.com

I need rates and availability over the next few weeks, this guy wants to move pretty quickly.

Thanks!

Specific Video Footage needed in Germany

Hi All,

Anybody in Germany who can assist me logistically to aquire footage of Barley (Weizen) & Hops (Hopfen) in Germany or surrounding countries? Or has anyone got Library footage of above? (HDV 1920X1080 50i)
I need the fields just before harvest time and the harvest itself. Need to document the history/tradition of beer.

There's a chance I have to fly to Germany middle to end of September 09 and I'm wondering if should bring my own gear or possibly rent equipment over there. Preferably Canon XH A1 or XL H1. With tripod and the works.

Any help or pointers into the right direction is much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Ethan Cooper August 10th, 2009 12:24 PM

Hurray for backing out at the last minute.

Looks like we're still in need of some audio help.

Things we need other than someone to do audio for us are:
Field mixer
additional runs of cable (XLR)

We could also use a c-stand or two.

Duncan Craig August 10th, 2009 03:11 PM

I could certainly shoot some Barley for you, there's plenty of crop fields around here. But hops will be a lot more difficult I'm afraid.

I've looked them up here: Hops - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and I've never seen anything like them before while out walking.

Freelance Videographer in New York, NY

I have a client that I worked with in Chicago that is looking to find a videographer/editor for an event at The Hill Restaurant. The Hill New York -perfect place to meet friends, have a birthday or private party, or watch sporting events

Pretty basic highlight video, not sure whats up with sound and lighting. The last event I just needed a handheld mic for some interviews. Prob would need an on camera light as well. I'm just doing them a favor in finding someone so I can give you contact info once I hear back, thought I would give out this gig to the community. If you have questions, you can email me at benmahoneyproductions@gmail.com

Thanks!

Camera Operator Germany, Berlin - 26. & 27. September

3 Attachment(s)
Hi folks!
I'm about to record a long drummer-concert on 26. and 27. September 2009 at FEZ-Berlin. The "Samba Syndrom" is a big workshop for amateurs and professionals. The concert recording is about their evening-presentation.

I need three camera operators für these days. Budget is 150€ for every operator.
Beginners are welcome!

We edit live and communicate via intercom. The result will be a dual-DVD for sale (about 150x) and live-video on screen.

Talking language for the video-team is strict German!

If you are interested or know someone, just mail me your CV and some video-previews

Camera Operator - Germany

Hi

I would like to find a good camera guy around the Frankfurt area to help me get a project off the ground. It's shooting a pilot for a show and it will involve lots of high-powered glamorous supercars.

So if you'd like to shoot them then get in touch, it will be low paid to start with, but I hope I can turn it into something useful.

By the time we start shooting I should have a Sony HVR-Z1 and an A1E back-up, but if you have your own equipment it would obviously be a big bonus.

This is not restricted to top line pros, passionate amateurs with a real eye for a shot are welcome.

Thanks

"48 Hour"-like film project in Charleston, SC

I am looking for a crew and talent to make a short next weekend (22 August) as practice for The 48 Hour Film Project. Earlier this year our 48 Hour short was featured as a "Best of DC": Bad Media on Vimeo

I'm looking for crew (please send resume and links to previous works):
* Director
* Scriptwriter
* Sound tech / boom operator
* Composer
* Assistant camera operator / focus puller
* Grips
* Lighting tech
* Editors

And talent: any age, any sex, any race. Please send headshot, resume and links to any works that are online.

The plan is to do a simulation of the rules of the real 48 Hour Film project: Friday night we will draw a genre and have 48 hours to write, direct, film, edit and score the 4-7 minute short. We will be filming on digital 35mm at 1080p. The short will be posted to Vimeo in HD and everyone will receive onscreen credits and a DVD for their demo reel.

Chris Barcellos August 16th, 2009 11:15 AM

Tramm:

I usually do San Jose 48 hour here in California, but missed it this year.

I was itching with hearing about Jon shooting.

Just wondering if there is enough interest in the 5D community to run a 48 hour in conjunction with you at the same time as yours.

Need help with shooting wedding videos

Thanks for looking everyone,but we now have someone that is able to help out!

Hi Everyone,

Well I've kinda hit a wall with two video shoots I have booked this coming fall/winter. I shoot stills and jumped into video last year. I am no longer booking video and only have a few left for this year. I have a friend helping with most of them but I am really stuck with two of them.

Matt Newcomb August 21st, 2009 02:53 PM

Yikes! Those things are rough. I can't imagine doing one just for practice. Once or twice a year seems to be about my limit for those.

WTR : Interview Light / Massachusetts

Will be in Northampton, Ma. from Sept. 5th - 9th to visit with some family to begin gathering on tape a sense of family history.

Most will be informal yet some stories I want to have shared in a more interview format.

Could only fit basic camera equipment as carry-on the plane. Sadly don't trust baggage handling if I checked my light kit so it stays home.

Might someone in the forum live in western Massachusetts that has a basic light kit with softbox or at the least a light with a softbox could rent during my stay ?

Am dependable, very dependable when it comes to borrowed/rented gear and can provide professional references.

best,

Ken Beals

Sound Person (audio) needed in Washington DC/NY Area.

I will be doing some small shoots on my EX-3 in the Washington DC and NYC locations late September. These are small 2 minute Eulogies or 2 minute sound bytes from people who are very used to public speaking.
I am looking for a sound person to assist me - either recording outside the camera are running XLR cable into the Ex-3 is fine. I can provide audio equipment if required but it's not the best - I have Sennheiser Lavs - Audio Technica Condensers and Shotguns and a Rode Shotgun.
Please reply to this thread with contact info.

I used to work for a producer in Northampton when I lived there years ago, very nice lady name of Marion Judd. She had an Arri kit and I assume still does. Might try giving her a call at 413-585-5755 and tell I her I passed on her name.

Ken Beals September 4th, 2009 06:11 PM

Thank-you so very much Charles !

Will give her a call and let you know how it goes.

sincerely,
