Actually, the GS400 looks a lot like a MX500. But the front lens element looks much wider. So no GS100 for the world outside of Japan, eh? Pity. :-))

Basic specs but no pictures (or good stuff like CCD detail) on English Panasonic site

http://www.panasonic.co.uk/camcorder...400b/index.htm

Previous Spanish specs with the 1/6" CCDs make it seem like the GS400 may be a DV953 with a better lense and better still scaling ; I'm hoping for so much more!

Thanks. But why did you send me zip files? Only one pic came out, I think it overwrote the other pics probably bacause all 3 pics had the same file name. I tried to view the one, but could not with none of my software. I tried 5 programs with no luck.

Frank,

I resent the 3. I had problems when I uploaded the first time to Guy's site (thanks Guy! ). The pictures were not showing.

What I did then was I loaded all of them in my Photosuite, then 'save as' using a diffrent filename and now it's looking okay in the Members Album. Just let me know if they're okay now. Sorry for the many resends. I didn't mean to use up your bandwidth. :)

I'm wondering if pany had some permissions set up that It can't be viewed as I got this from pany espany.

here's the first upload to Guy's site:

http://www.fortvir.net/modules.php?s...view_photo.php

I think you can resize it to normal to see the small version.

Joby,
The picture is fine. So, e.Cam is Pany's Spanish website? Do they have pictures of any other sides?

Thanks again Guy.

Yes, there's 2 more of the same pics we've seen over and over in the other dealers and pany sites but i think these are just bigger versions.

I'm about to post them now as I had to resave them (weird!!!) in order for them to be viewable in your site.

Guy,

I'm not sure about the e.Cam designation. Maybe Frank would know? I know I've seen it in the french and belgian and spanish catalogs.

Here's the other two pics now:

By the way, is there a limit to what you can upload?

Thanks again Guy!
