Re: Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II

Just so this is completely clear this is version 2 that retails for $2299. Then after rebate it is $1999. So I am taking $200 off the price after you receive rebate.

Angenieux 12 x 10 Type A C-Mount Adapter

1 Attachment(s)
Hi -

This may be a long shot, but I am looking for the "C cup" adapter for an Angenieux 12 - 120mm Type A lens. This is a 16 mm lens with the viewfinder attached at the base of the lens. Apparently, there are many of these lenses around without the C cup adapter, which has a threaded C mount at the base.

I have attached a photo of the adapter...

Thank you!

Re: Clip on Matte Box

Paul: I think you'll like it. Like all clip ons, give the master ring stem an extra half twist to keep it tight on the lens.

It also has a lot of modular parts with thumbscrews. The unit I used was a little loose in some places, but once I went around and tightened everything down, it worked flawlessly. And it weighs next to nothing!

Re: Clip on Matte Box

It arrives tomorrow.

I purchased the clip on but also the 15mm bar attachment just to have options. Once I watch a few videos on their site I was ready. Looks like a great product and will match all of my glass options when I need a matte box.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Re: Angenieux 12 x 10 Type A C-Mount Adapter

FWIW, I found an individual with several of these in Greece on Ebay. I have a couple of them coming, and will pass on his information if anyone is interested. I expect mine to be here within the next 2 weeks...

Re: Sigma 50-150 f2.8 Nikon Mt

Muscle memory is a serious problem I admit.. All myF3 lenses are Nikon except for the Sigma which is opposite , but I also shoot with an EX-1 as well as other cameras and lenses and have years of memory shooting with all sorts of cameras. At this point I am frankly always completely confused as to which direction to turn the focus ring. I wish I could come up with some mental trick to remind myself which way to turn with any lens but its tough to make it clear to my addled old brain.

I've had some thoughts of switching to an FS700 & Canon lenses for speed booster, IS and possible 4K if the Odyssey pans out. I guess an added benefit of no small value would be that all my lenses would turn in the same direction.

Mark Roberts Motion Control SFH-30 for sale

Mark Roberts Motion Control SFH-30 for sale

geoff tompkinson | SFH-30

I am selling a Mark Roberts Motion Control pan/tilt head SFH-30 with added focus motor and a selection of lens rings, added dolly motor with 10m tooth belt. The unit can be controlled via the included joystick control unit or via an ethernet connection from the included mini laptop installed with Flair control software.

It comes with mains electricity power supply and all cables, including Canon 5d style shutter cable (you can get alternatives from Mrmoco).

The unit can be easily powered in the field with a power gorilla battery - which can also be used to power the included laptop.

This is a proper motion control rig with precisely repeatable moves suitable for green screen work etc. The retail price of this set-up, without the added laptop and several other extras I will be throwing in, is around UK £14,000

This Unit has been in my possession for several years but has seldom been used as my focus has been on other types of shot.

I am offering the whole lot for UK £7,500
