Old Steadicam sled wanted for project
 

Hi,

I'm building a backup rig and have most of the parts I need to upgrade an old sled such as a 3A or EFP. I'm really looking for an old wreck that someone has kicking around as I will be gutting it, rewiring it entirely and then replacing the monitor, monitor arm and battery hanger. I'd be happy with a post and gimbal - in fact, a post would be great :)

This was purchased for my Pansonic AC130, but is a bit too tight. The AC130 is a pretty big camera, I can see this working well on other cameras. It has to mount to the top cold shoe of the camera, and this wasn't really a happy experience on the Pansonic. Petrol's photos show it on a Sony EX-1.

ADDENDUM: In my former Day-Job-Land we had one in our voice over studio (healthcare video production) for ProTools. Loved it, plus it interfaced optically instead of analog in our application.

The rod has some wear on it, other than that it is in good working condition. I did change the spring washer in the uvf to a nord lock washer to create a more secure connection. Comes with everything in the pictures.
