Re: DVTEC MultiRig Pro

Sorry, dvinfo doesnt notify me via email on replies...

I did use is on my 5d2 with various lenses.. The belt + support rod was extremely effective at supporting a 5d2 with a 70-200 IS f2.8 combo... It worked well with smaller lenses as well.

Im getting out of event videography, hence selling this.

Re: Np-f970l batteries

!!!!!Do you have a "Sony NEX-FS700U Super 35 Camcorder"????

THE NP-F970L battery is compatible!!!!!

Giroud Francois March 8th, 2013 06:54 AM

what is the difference between OEM and "knock off" ?
how old or how many charge have the batteries.
Have you tested it (capacity is really what is should be)
You can find a lot of these batteries on ebay for $25, but as far as i know, most of them are just fake,
two cells + some iron for the weight instead the 6 cells.

Sony InfoLithium L series NP-F970 Li-ion battery fake, let's take a look inside! - YouTube

James Kuhn March 8th, 2013 10:44 AM

Re: Np-f970l batteries

Giroud...thank you for your interest.

An "OEM" is the term used for "Original Equipment Manufacturer", in this case it means Sony made the batteries. The term "Knock-Off" refers to an item that was most likely reverse-engineered to perform within the specifications of the 'OEM' item. I have no idea where the 'Knock-Off' batteries were made. I purchased all four (4) of the batteries from Texas Tape Works, a well respected re-seller and a DVInfo sponsor. They were purchased approximately one (1) year ago. The batteries have been maintained in-accordance with the 'OEM' instructions, i.e., completely drained and fully re-charged once a quarter. The 'Knock-Off' batteries perform just like the 'OEM' batteries and are "recognized" by my HXR-NX5U camera's Firm Ware. All internal battery metrics are shown on the Status Screen. All four (4) batteries work perfectly fine.

Thank you for sharing.

J.

Panasonic HMC150s, Libec Tripods, Dollys, Varizoom rockers, 5.6" Ikan Monitors

5 Attachment(s)
We're doing some upgrades at the studio and have some gear we'd like to unload. A few items havent even been used yet. We have the following:

Panasonic HMC150 Camcorders

I have two 150s, both lightly used, with 411/380 hours of use on them (great condition, as most of these hours were used for multi cam time lapses). Both cameras come with upgraded VBG6 batteries (the $130 ones that last 3 hours instead of the little standard ones), charger, remote, and the originally included A/V cables. They retail for $2950 each, but asking $1900 for each, or $3300 for the pair. More info: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/575992-REG/Panasonic_AG_HMC150PJU_AG_HMC150_AVCCAM_Camcorder.html

Varizoom VZRock-PZFI Rocker Controller

I have two of these. They’re compatible with the HMC/HVX/HPX lines, this is the ideal way to control your cameras zoom, exposure, and focus remotely. Used, but in mint condition, complete with the original boxes. Retails for $230, but asking $170 each. More info: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/413136-REG/VariZoom_VZ_ROCK_PZFI_VZRock_PZFI_Rocker_Controller.html

Libec LS-38 Tripod System

I have two of these, both used. One (both head and legs) is in excellent condition. I paid $700+ for it, but am asking $350. The second one (head and legs) has normal wear and tear, but there’s a crack in the one leg (see picture). Even with a jib and 70lbs counter weight on top, the crack has never been a problem. I’m asking $250 for the head, and will throw in the legs free. More info: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/697093-REG/Libec_LS_38M_2A_N_LS_38M_2A_N_Professional_2_Stage_Aluminum.html

Libec DL-3 Dolly

I have two Libec dollies that fit the tripods listed above. These are awesome. Both are used and in decent condition, minus a small dent on the leg. They retail for $165 each, but I’ll take $115 each, or $200 for the pair. More info: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/131492-REG/Libec_DL_3_DL_3_Dolly.html

Ikan VK5 5.6” HDMI LCD Monitor

I have four of these in opened boxes, but never used. They even still have the plastic protective film on the screens. We use another 8 of them at the studio, and feel that they are by far the best bang for the buck for field monitors. These ones don’t have battery plates, and run on AC, although you can get the added battery plates easily online. They retail for $400 new, but asking $280 each. I’m open to making deals if you want more than one. More info: VK5: VK5 | 5.6" HDMI Monitor | ikan

Blizzard Q12 LED pucks, Audio Technica wired lavs, Samsung 24" business LED monitor

3 Attachment(s)
We're doing some upgrades at the studio and have some gear we'd like to unload. A few items havent even been used yet. We have the following:

Blizzard Puck Q12s - Flat LED PAR Can Lights

LED flat PARs with 12x 10w capsules with quad color (RGBW). These are super bright, and the best LED pars I’ve used to date. They’re used, but in very good condition. They retail for $299 each, but asking $200 each, or $550 for all three. More info: Blizzard Puck Q12 Plus Flat LED PAR Can Light at zZounds

Audio-Technica AT899 - Condenser Lavalier Microphone

I have three of these, brand new and unopened. They retail for $185, but I’ll let them go for $135 each, or all three for $360. More info: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/266176-REG/Audio_Technica_AT899_AT899_Condenser_Lavalier.html

Samsung 24” 450 Series 1920x1200 Monitor

Open box, but only turned on to test. We set this up in the editing room, it looked amazing, but we never got a chance to use it. The box and all original contents and packaging are still intact, including event the original foam bag and foam casings. Retails for $300, but asking $230. More info: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/841586-REG/Samsung_S24A450BW_1_S24A450BW_24_0_450_Series.html
