Sachtler Video 18 II Head

I have a Sachtler Video 18 II head for sale. I bought it in 2006 and have been using it as my main head until recently when I upgraded to a new head. It's flown many different cameras, including the Sony EX-3, Canon 5D/7D, RED One, and RED Epic, and I've used it on national projects with talent like Ludacris and Dolly Parton.

Mechanically it's in excellent shape. All pan/tilt fluid drag cartridges (drag settings) engage and work smoothly. I have taken great care to not switch drag settings while the head is moving as so to not damage the cartridges. Both counterbalance settings engage and work as they should. The Pan/Tilt locks work perfectly. Top sliding balance plate works perfectly. Bubble level works fine.

Cosmetically it has scratches on it from normal use. The textured finish has mostly worn off in certain places like in the front where you would put your hands on the head to help operate with. Someone before me scratched also "Ten 6" on the side of the top sliding plate (see photos below) Other than those things, it's been fairly well taken care of.

The only things that are missing off it is: the quick release safety latch (which was never a problem to me because of how strong the QR spring is), a small "C" pin that keeps the tie down knob and bowl washer together (though it pretty much stays together without it), and half the pan drag setting label. The latch is $15.55 from Sachtler and the label is $5.55 if you really want it. The C pin can be found at homedepot for under $1.

Comes with a pan handle, new quick release plate, and new 3/8" camera screw.

Asking $2300 + actual shipping costs (email me with your zipcode and I can give an accurate quote) Will also consider reasonable offers.

Re: New Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 for Canon

I've already got one, but just for potential buyers, this lens is also fantastic on
Sony FS100/700 series, Sony VG 10/20/30 and Sony EA50 as long as you
get a Metabones Mark II adapter. One of my favorite lenses on my FS100.
I have a review and video work samples of this lens at my blog.

Cheers.

Canon 10-22mm EF Lens

I literally bought this 6 weeks ago for use on my Black Magic Cinema Camera. I ran some tests on it and verified that it was significantly sharper than the Tokina 11-16mm but then never really used it. I fell out of love with the BMCC and was just outside the 30 day return policy of the lens. The lens is like new in the box. I spent $800 on it mid march new from local Best Buy. Looking to get $600 for it.

Let me know if you are interested. Wanted to offer it here before I go to Ebay. Thanks.

Af101 (af100)

Bought last June for £3900, this is an outstanding large sensor camcorder with the remainder of it's UK 3 warranty. For sale, simply because I have another system and this doesn't get enough use anymore.

Also included in the sale are:

2 x higher capacity 7200 mAH batteries with fully compatible chips and charging capabilities (3 in total with the included 5800 mAH battery) - even the most intensive shooting day is unlikely to use more than 2 batteries.

All original paperwork, bags and tags etc.

Mains cable, charger etc have been PAT tested and certified - crucial for filming in most public buildings.

Latest firmware updates.

Barry Green AF100 Book.

Operating hours (the time the camera has been switched on) is logged at 126 hours. I would describe this camera as somewhere between excellent and mint condition. It has a few very tiny blemishes that you'd have to look very hard to see and the bolt-on microphone bracket has tiny stress fractures that have been fixed, but I'm confident that even the most picky buyer would be delighted with the condition.

I am an owner-operator, my kit is highly cherished and cared for, and it has never been rented out. You can be confident that it is a very good example.

£1750 incl VAT plus £28.80 Special Delivery Next Day by 1pm.
