I bought a Manfrotto 357 Quick Release w/ 357PL sliding plate by mistake. It's just slightly larger than the 501PL plates on my tripod. If anyone here wants it in the next day or so I'll take $40 shipped before going to eBay. It's brand new without packaging.

How much weight can it handle? I have a Canon XH A1s which I believe is around 8 or 9 pounds.

Steadicam Pilot/Flyer Hybrid Rig
 

I'm selling my extra Steadicam - Its a Pilot sled, with the latest Flyer arm and vest - identical to what is currently shipping with the Scout. It will ship with the Pilot backpack case - and 2 IDX batteries and a dual charger. Everything is in great working condition - the gimbal was sent to Tiffen for service and the bearings were replaced so it operates like new. I purchased a Zephyr at the same time and hung onto this kit for a backup, but have decided its not necessary to hold onto as I'm looking to upgrade from the Zephyr in the near future for an even higher weight class and the Zephyr will act as my backup rig in a pinch.

The pilot kit without the higher capacity arm and vest ships for $4500 with the V-mount battery kit - I'm selling this hybrid rig for $3800+shipping.

If you're serious about getting into Steadicam as a first-time rig-owner, this kit is perfect as you'll be able to kit out the crop of smaller cameras that exist with a mattebox, extra battery, follow focus receiver and motors without any weight problems.

Hey, I am looking for a 7D to shoot with this May a feature ultra low budget..I have been stuck with the T2i shooting but want to step up to the 7D...Since you don't have anything but the body..would you consider helping a film maker out and letting it go for around $700?

Hi Mark, the HD version is geared towards larger cameras like the XHA1s, which is actually seen on their product page: http://www.glidetrack.com/glidetrack-hd.html

My rig is now an AF100 with rails, FF, external batteries, monitors etc, so it's quite heavy, and I need to look into a more substantial system for the work I do. For smaller jobs and event work, I would completely recommend the Glidetrack.
